CCC #27/Distress Misting Mask

Here is my entry for CCC #27 Distress Misting Mask on Linda's blog I have never tried this technique before so I really wanted to get something done for this challenge. So I squeezed a little bit of it in before I went to work the other day, first attempt didn't work, oh my not much time hurry or you are going to be late for work, I said what the heck and took the time to try it again! So I managed to get the masking part done! Then I was to go watch my little grandson Jackson after work and there was pending high winds in the forecast after snowing all day so I wasn't sure if I would make it home or not so I hurried up and through a bag together and another bag with stuff to try finish this tag, and of course forgot a lot of stuff!! It all worked out I got to work on time and the winds didn't get as high as forecasted and I made it home that night well about 3:30 in the morning, kids! So I was able to finish it yesterday, WHEW!! This is a really cool technique, I used rusty hinge, crushed olive and wild honey mixed with a little gold perfect pearls.

And here I am again trying to rush through a blog post before I have to head out and about again!! Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for the winner of the Tim Holtz die cut!!
Have a good one!

  1. Great tag! love the masking and stamps you used.

  2. Wonderful tag, Donna, your masking turned out fabulous! Glad you made it home safely!

  3. That looks so good! you are so determined that I'm sure your project would have been finished no matter what. lol

  4. Oh, Donna, this is fabulous! The colors are so beautifully vintage, and the masking is perfect! I love the theme, too. There's so much cool stuff to see here, and I'm really loving that "Travel" stamp. Great job, honey!
