Inking Grunge

Hey Everyone,
I have had a busy busy couple of weeks, sure busier then I want to be that's for sure!! Fighting a cold on top of it, oh summer colds!! UGG!!
The challenge for wk#8 on Linda's blog was Inking Grunge, one of my favorites!! The header pic of my blog was done all with GB&GP. Love, love, love inking grunge!!! I took this photo last weekend at the lake of my grandson Bridger by an old boat. Love it! Decided to make a wall hanging with it and hang it in my craft room (no studio here) lol!! I didn't have much time this week, otherwise I might have come up with something other then flowers, oh well. I used Graphic 45 On the Boardwalk collection. Inked a styled label in rusty hinge and ran it through an embossing folder and inked up the flowers cut from Tim's Tattered Florals die. Have you watched the video on his blog with the rosette, on my wish list for sure!!!

We had a super fun weekend camping at the lake with Landi & family. The boys love the water!!
Here are a few pics from the weekend....
Boys on the dock...
Caidin on the trampoline...
Bridger loved the boat raft...
Actually playing together...
Boys in kayak...
Caidin back from fishing, he won a dollar for 1st fish...
Even Maddie got in on the fun, she loved it down by the beach!!

Fun weekend had by all!!
Everyone have a good one!

  1. Love the hanging beauty you created! Beautiful! Sure looks like the boys had a great time!

  2. Donna, what a great time you had! Looks like so much fun, and those boys are adorable!

Your wall hanging is awesome, and what a great keepsake of your trip! I love the G45 paper with the Inked Grunge panel and flowers, and the photo is perfect. It's such a wonderful vacation piece, and something you'll treasure always, I'm sure.

Isn't that rosette die the coolest?? I can't wait to get one. :-)

  3. Awesome piece, Donna! Love that background paper with the grunge on top, and the flower is fab!

  4. The wallhanging is the beach style.

  5. Love, love, love it!!! Saw it in the thumbnails at CCC and had to come take a look. Never would have thought to put a photo on a hanging like that - now it seems so obvious, LOL! Brilliant!

  6. FABULOUS Piece, Donna!! That Graphic 45 paper is one of my favorites!!
