Thank you everyone for leaving such nice comments on my configuration box, I really appreciated them!! It was so much fun to do, a few of you asked where I got some of the items in the box, I bought a few of the items at Michaels and I used some items that I had laying around the house. The car was one of them that I had laying around and really don't know where it came from, the penny in the jar was my dads, when I was younger the thing fascinated me as I always wondered how they got that penny in there? The little coo-coo clock was a pin I had picked up in Germany when my son was stationed over there and I just took the pin part off. The domino & grunge flower I made. I used Tim's Lost and Found papers inside & out on it. If you haven't done one of these yet do, they are so fun!! So, I have had a couple days off and so has my DH which means I haven't gotten anything creative done. I never get anything done when he is around!! lol But we have been shopping the last couple days so hasn't been all bad as I have managed to pick up a few things I needed to go to CHA with at the end of the month, which I'm so excited for!! Can't wait to see all of Tim & Wendy's goodies in person!! Well on to the giveaway, I did a random draw and the winner is K...grannyso@yahoo.com, Congratulations K and send me your address and I will get the flourish die cut in the mail to you.I have another die cut to giveaway, so stop back tomorrow for a chance to win it. Hopefully I'll have something creative to share to. Thanks again everyone for leaving such nice comments!!Have a good one!Donna
Here is my entry for CCC #27 Distress Misting Mask on Linda's blog http://studiol3.blogspot.com/ I have never tried this technique before so I really wanted to get something done for this challenge. So I squeezed a little bit of it in before I went to work the other day, first attempt didn't work, oh my not much time hurry or you are going to be late for work, I said what the heck and took the time to try it again! So I managed to get the masking part done! Then I was to go watch my little grandson Jackson after work and there was pending high winds in the forecast after snowing all day so I wasn't sure if I would make it home or not so I hurried up and through a bag together and another bag with stuff to try finish this tag, and of course forgot a lot of stuff!! It all worked out I got to work on time and the winds didn't get as high as forecasted and I made it home that night well about 3:30 in the morning, kids! So I was able to finish it yesterday, WHEW!! This is a really cool technique, I used rusty hinge, crushed olive and wild honey mixed with a little gold perfect pearls.
And here I am again trying to rush through a blog post before I have to head out and about again!! Don't forget to stop back tomorrow for the winner of the Tim Holtz die cut!!
Have a good one!

I intended on posting this last week, but I wasn't able to side step a flu bug that was floating around YUK!! These configurations are so fun to work with!! Some of the boxes have some meaning and others just cause I liked it!! It looks a lot better in person, again indoor picture not the best but I wasn't about to try take it outside in -12 degree weather!! Maybe if we get above zero with no wind I'll try take it outside and get a better pic and re-post it. The paper I used was from Tim's Lost & Found stack (love that paper) and his tissue tape on the edges. I can't wait to do another one, maybe one with trinkets from a trip or something. I'm going to CA at the end of the month so will have to keep my eye out for little stuff to put in another one! Would also like to do a Christmas one and other holiday ones. It was a lot of fun to do, but I think I need smaller fingers though!! lolSo on to the giveaway, I have acquired double of a few things so decided I would give them away here on my blog. First up is Tim's flourish die cut, love this die cut!! All you have to do is leave a comment and I will pick a random winner next Monday 1/17/11. Good Luck!! Have a good one everyone!!Donna
