SSSS...Show your Layers

Here's my entry for SSSS the challenge this week is Simon Says Stamp and Show Your Layers. I had planned on doing something totally different but had just watched Suze Weinbergs video on layering bees wax over on Ranger Ink that stuck in my head! I've been wanting to try working with bees wax and have had it for awhile. I've also have had this flower that I had made with Ten Seconds Studio metal and never found the right project to use it on. I used one of Tim's Lost & Found papers which I have to admit wasn't one of my favorites and thought I would probably never use it, HA!! I toned it down a little by stamping flourishes on it. It has 3 layers of bees wax on it, the frame has 2 layers of bees wax and perfect pearls. I stamped & cut out the butterflies & leaves out of Ten Seconds Studio metal, put them through one of Tim's embossing folders and sprayed a little Maya Road Mists on them. Oh, and did I mention the nasty blister my finger got from cleaning out the melting pot, I was even being careful!!

Thanks again for all the nice comments, and taking a look at my blog!
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend and be safe!

Have a good one!
